Joe Romeiro Produces another stunning Shark Video – RIPFIN: Battle Scars

Posted on Wednesday, January 11th, 2012 at 10:18 am

RIPFIN is a brilliant short film. I believe Joe found and document the star of Jaws. The film is subtitled “Battle Scars” and there is no question how he conceived the titles. Filmed mostly in black and white only using color for emphases on the details of this remarkably battle scared great white. The sound track by Blue Foundation sends a chill across the goose bumps this film produces.

Joe Romeiro and his partner Bill Fisher founded 333 Productions in 2007. Since it’s creation they are responsible for creating four award-winning films, “Silent Requiem”, “Death of a Deity”, “A Lateral Line” and “Shark Culture”.

Is this a joke? Seriously… a shark in this tank?

Posted on Tuesday, January 10th, 2012 at 3:34 pm

Ok, so we try to be pretty level-headed, but seriously? a shark in this tank? This is SO WRONG! This tank is disturbingly overstocked, and the shark…. FAIL. I hope someone got to this quickly, and had this tank taken down. I don’t even have much to write about it, as it’s so obviously not ok. The shark can barely make that turn. ARGH!!!!!

We’ve gotten several emails asking us how to start using ReefTools Live to document and monitor an aquarium, so we decided to put together a series of tutorials.
