Here is a video we created of the Majano Wand killing aiptasia. The Majano Wand is designed to irradiate those pest anemones taking over your reef tank. We wanted to make sure it works, so we put it to the test. Here’s a video showing the Majano Wand in action blasting away some pesky little aiptasia. Let us know what you think.

Again, we do want to note that the Majano Wand is designed for majanos only, and any application on aiptasia, mushrooms, xenia, etc., is not endorsed.

It may not be endorsed for killing mushrooms, but nevertheless it does a great job at it.

I wish I had a ‘before’ and ‘after’ shot- I reclaimed a 175g tank that was rampant with run-of-the-mill green striped mushrooms. It took multiple passes (as any flesh left behind would spawn new little ‘shrooms), and there are some that I can’t reach due to my rockwork, but I’d say I’ve eliminated 85-90% of the mushrooms.

seriously? wow! I’m going to have to try it on some shrooms. Have you tried it on anything else? I wonder how yellow polyps would react. Probably the same

Palythoa just shrugged it off (I think them and cockroaches will eventually rule the land and sea). Something smaller and more delicate like yellow polyps? I bet it’d work.

Where can you buy that Zapper want??
