Help EcoXotic Support the Coral Restoration Foundation
Posted on Friday, April 22nd, 2011 at 5:38 pm by ReefToolsEarth Day—April 22—has motivated individuals and organizations worldwide to express their commitment to environmental protection and sustainability for over 40 years. And while it’s vital that each and every one of us does our part, the staff here at Reef Tools likes to see when vendors in our industry jump into the mix. This year, EcoXotic is working with the Coral Restoration Foundation (CRF), and is sponsoring a restoration site on Molasses Reef (off of Key Largo, FL). The goal it to transplant 120 staghorn corals to this site within the next year. So, right now you’re probably sitting there thinking, “that’s pretty cool, good for them.” Well, if you want to show your support, please “like” the EcoXotic Facebook page. The more “likes” they get, the more corals they will sponsor.
