CAD Light upgrades the Conic Bio-reactor

Cad light has listened to the request of their costumers by engineering a 3-way re-circulating valve for their bio-pellet reactor. The 3-way valve gives the user the ability to completely control the rate the water moves into the reactor and leaves the reactor as well as the speed the bio-pellets tumble. This will help new users from common mistakes like overdosing or under dosing.

The intent was to make the controlling of the reactor extremely easy, which it seems they have done. Simply monitor the parameters of your system and adjust the speed of reaction required based on the flow rate you set. I haven’t had the opportunity to work with the new Conic Bio-reactor, but I am told they are in stock and ready to ship. As always, Reef Tools welcomes reader’s input.

I got the CAD Bio-reactor when it first came out and it took away all of my slime, red and even bubble algae within 6 weeks. the bubble algae has plagued my tank for the longest with no possible way of defeating it. I LOVE the CAD Conic reactor. with this new 3-way valve and control options i can only imagine how much better it is now. CAD lights explained to me that its pretty easy to add the new valve onto my current CAD reactor since it is identical with only the addition of the valve and re-circulating plumbing.

Anyone thinking about a Bio-reactor out there, i highly recommend this one.

don’t waste your money its very poorly constructed. Mine came with no instructions and missing parts. Half the threads were crooked and they used cheap Chinese piping so you cant get replacement parts locally. When i contacted them, 8 days later they said they would send the replacement parts. They sent the wrong parts Since i had no instructions i assembled it wrong they said they would then send a new plumbing kit which they never did and now don’t answer my emails. Save your money andf buy something that works right out of the box.
